Welcome to the new home for the Storytellers: Native American Authors Online website.

The original web site was conceived with a very particular aim: to make the writing of modern Native American authors, particularly poets and novelists, both more visible and more widely available. Toward this end, most of the sites residing here were constructed with the collaboration of the authors.

Because this site has grown so far beyond its original conception, the original webmaster is no longer able to maintain the existing author pages and to construct new pages for more authors. The site has now migrated to a new form, a wiki, having a distributed editorship. It is hoped that this will allow the site to continue to live and grow.
