Louise Bernice Halfe

Louise Bernice Halfe (Cree) (b. 1953, Two Hill, Alberta, Canada) was raised on the Saddle Lake Indian Reserve in Northern Alberta. At the age of seven, she attended Blue Quills Residential School. She left home at the age of sixteen, completed high school both at Calgary and St. Paul, Alberta. She received a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Regina and Addictions training from Nechi Institute at St. Albert, Alberta. Now she lives in Saskatoon.
