Dusty Naranjo (b. July 9, 1968) (Santa Clara Pueblo/Taos Pueblo) is the daughter of Professor Tito Naranjo (Santa Clara Pueblo) and Berenice Suazo Naranjo (Taos Pueblo). Forrest Naranjo is her brother. She graduated from New Mexico Highlands University with A B.A. in psychology and has a Masters in Art Therapy.

Dusty learned to make pottery from her mother although the potters in her extended family have all influenced her. She makes her pottery in the traditional manner, collecting her own clay, polishing with a stone and firing traditionally. She incorporated abstract lines and shapes with traditional southwest images. Dusty has perfected an intermediate firing that produces beautiful chocolate brown and sienna colors. She uses the sgrafito technique of using steel blades to scrape through the outer dark layer into the slip beneath that is still reddish in color. Cutting deeper exposes the tan of the clay body.

Dusty is the granddaughter of Rose Naranjo, niece of Dr. Rina Swentzell, potter Jody Folwell, sculptor Michael Naranjo, potter Dolly Naranjo, sculptor Nora Naranjo-Morse and potter Edna Romero. She is the cousin of sculptor Roxanne Swentzell and potters Jody Naranjo, Susan Folwell and Polly Rose Folwell.
